My love for repetition is shown here as the layers of concrete slabs stack up to an unconventional tree trunk table. Using a wood slice to replicate the texture by casting it in latex. Each concrete slab, while identical, takes on minor individual details of additional textures and bubbles. The slabs between the top and bottom pieces have the centers hollowed out to reduce overall material and cut down on the weight. Sealed with a food-safe finish and is usable indoors or outdoors. 14”l x 14”w x 16.5”h.
